Investment Environment in the Virtual Real Cash Economy

The subject of this thesis is to introduce the reader to the issue of possible financial investment in the virtual economy with real funds and design strategies to maximize the initial capital appreciation. The introduction describes the analysis of virtual PED currency, the economy and the system of publicly traded shares. The main part is focused on presenting the results of practical traded investment based on fundamental analysis, speculation about the intrinsic value of the shares and evaluating applied strategies, including the benefits of work.

The main aim of the thesis is on the base of financial plan and financial alalysis design functional system which would be realizable in practise. In theoretical part I deal with internet auctions and also legislation of consumers contracts and loans. In practical part comparing the loan market and proposal of business solution.

Subcontract Management in a Construction Company

This thesis describes a subcontract management in a construction company. The theoretical section explains the terms of project management and project organization. This is followed by a practical section explaining how a construction company and its system of processing selects a subcontractors. This part of the thesis describes the filling of a particular construction order. The last part is the evaluation of the construction company’s current system and the system’s eventual improvement.

Methods and Tools for Modelling of Multi-Comodity Markets

This study investigates Game theory including economic theories related to agricultural production. Model creation simulating economical system is built upon theoretic starting points. Commodity production is simulated using game theory with searching for Nash equilibria. Commodity demand function is grounded on concept of Cournot game. System includes land trading based on sealed-bid auctions with second-price. This model is using external Gambit software which is freeware library for game theory computations. Model evaluation is located in Experiments section where model structure and truthfulness is tested.

My work contains a classification of a single editorial systems, possibly used during the Advertisement and the Auction system. There is a resolution of creation of the Advertisement and the Auction system, which should be used by the VUT in Brno city. The system is proposed to keep up design of the official internet pages of VUT Brno. A part of this document is generator of the administrative systems, able to generate the internet web pages to repair the small and middle MySQL databases.

The bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of a web portal that provides trading with websites. Trading is conducted via auctions. The theoretical part is devoted to e-commerce, e-auctions, legislation on the subject, analyzing the performance of existing solutions and technologies used. In the practical part are presented diagrams of object-oriented design, spatial layout information of portal, implementation and subsequent testing. The portal is created using the PHP language and Nette framework. The conclusion of the work is devoted to the economic and technical evaluation of the application.

Methods of Public Property Sales in the Czech Republic

The aim of this work is to compare common methods of public property sales in the Czech Republic - it compares sales through public auction with sealed-bid auction. Public auctions with more regulated publicity standards show much lower rate of failed auction, which might make them preferable method of sale. Revenue of both methods is found to be similar, which fits the auction theory predictions, despite demonstrated bias in official price estimates and institutional frictions. The difference between the methods is reflected in the fact that the revenues from the sales through sealed-bid auctions have lower variance than the sales through public auctions.
